In order to play, you need a one of the following: Sabrehaven original Tibia client or open Tibia client or a compatible IP changer and an original Tibia client.

OTC V8 support of the 7.92 protocol does work flawlessly. This client may be very valuable for everyone who are experiencing client lags of the legacy Tibia client. However, I wish to include that Sabrehaven server is not supporting the client officially and we are not responsible of any bugs or issues you may face with the Open Tibia Client in general and such issues should be reported in their official github page.

Instructions are simple just copy all the map files to your Tibia.exe folder if you downloaded Tibia files from zip archive or if you installed it yourself through installation wizard then usually the location for minimap files are here: C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Tibia[clientVersion]

How to connect and play with original Tibia client without modifications:

  1. Download and install the original tibia client 7.92 if you haven't already.
  2. Download and run the IP changer.
  3. In the IP changer, change Client Path to the tibia.exe file where you installed the client.
  4. In the IP changer, write this in the IP field: login.sabrehaven.com
    Keep in mind that to login to the game server you have to write the login.sabrehaven.com instead of the website address sabrehaven.com
  5. Now you can successfully login on the tibia client and play clicking on Apply.
